Deborah S – Nursing (Ghana)
Deborah dreams of becoming a professional. To achieve her goal, Deborah has enrolled in Central University College but without a loan she fears that she will need to defer her graduation. With a $1,164 loan, Deborah plans on using the funds to pay her tuition while she saves her salary from her part time job. With a degree in business she expects to earn $21 a day. Unfortunately, Deborah’s parents never had the opportunity to complete their high school education. Without the opportunity for a higher degree, her parents never had the chance to move up. Growing up, finances have always been tight. With two older siblings attending college already, Deborah is unsure how she will be able to finance her education on her own without the assistance of a loan.
