Andrea Maria – Speech Therapist (Asunción, Paraguay)
Andrea has always dreamt of becoming a speech therapist. To achieve her goal, Andrea has enrolled in the Universidad Católica de Asunción. Without a loan she is unsure how she will be able to continue affording her education. She shares that her alternative would be to take time off of school to work and save money until she could return. Andrea shares that it is important to her to graduate on time so she can enter into the job market as soon as possible. With a $1,189 loan, Andrea plans on using the funds to pay her tuition while she saves her salary from her part time job. Currently Andrea earns $8 a day. With a degree in speech therapy she expects to earn $28 a day.
